Our Story

Founded in 2017 by Ger Dineen and Matthew Gerber, Interactive Interiors was conceptualised as a chance to bring both experience and change to commercial design industry. Our year on year growth has seen us go from an ambitious start up to an industry defining and trusted team, with a sharp focus on our sector, bringing our expertise to construction and design projects from initial planning to final handover.

Our People

Ger Dineen, Managing Director, has over twenty five years experience in sales and Matthew Gerber, Design Director with an Honours Degree in Interior Architecture, has over seven years’ experience in office design. Our tightknit design team bring innovation and logical, client based solutions tailored to each project, ensuring creativity, ingenuity and excellence. Olan O’Sullivan, our project manager, has over seven years management and installation experience. Our fitout team bring unwavering attention to detail, commitment and strive to ensure deadlines are met and expectations are surpassed. Based in Little Island, Cork, we are central to all national and international companies.

Managing Director

Ger is a goal orientated Project Manager with over twenty five years’ experience in the office furniture and project fit-out business. He collaborates with the premier architects, designers and project managers in the business. He does whatever it takes to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, using designs that blend form and function to help establish a superior office interior that excites the client. You will always find him in the cutting edge of office design, pushing all boundaries when it comes to crafting a superior office lay out that not only matches, but far exceeds the client’s expectations. He guarantees top level performance and is relentless with his pursuit of excellence when it comes to creating a dynamic office interior.

Matthew Gerber

Design Director

Matthew is a detail orientated, creative and passionate designer with over seven years’ experience in office design and an Honours Degree in Interior Architecture. His work is guided by a strong belief in design as a problem-solving tool, as a way of recognizing and forming relationships between ideas and reality, and as a method for improving the connections between people and the products they use and their environments. He thrives on new challenges that are presented to him. He is a passionate and dedicated individual to all fields relating to architecture, including engineering, interior architecture, furniture design and project management. 'We are what we practice. Precision then, is not an act, but a way of life'.

Project Manager

Olan is a problem solver and passionate project manager with over seven years’ experience in office fit outs and management. An invaluable asset to any fitout, Olan thrives best as part of the building phase team, he is driven in finding optimal solutions to ensure all projects are delivered on time and to the client’s specifications. He thrives on new challenges that are presented to him. He is a detailed and dedicated individual to all fields relating to hands on activities, with the ability to think logically and keep a focused mindset regardless of the complexities that may arise while a project is underway onsite. You can be assured of a professional and hassle free experience when he is on the job.

Anthony is an ACCA accountant working in the company since May 2019. Anthony graduated from Cork Institute of Technology in 2015 where he received his degree for Bachelor of Business in Accounting. He has over eight years’ experience working as an Accountant. He is a very detailed orientated individual and thrives on new challenges within the company.

Darragh has been with Interactive Interiors for over a year as a project installer. He is a problem solver with experience in many aspects of the constrcution industry. Eager in completing a project to a high standard whilst finding optimal solutions to ensure all projects are deleivered on time and to the clients specifications.

Joining the team in 2023, Nicola brings seven years’ experience in design and sales in the residential sector, along with an honours degree in Interior Architecture to Interactive Interiors. Her passion for period architecture, timeless furniture, colour, and textiles. She thrives in creating refined and warm interiors with form and functionality at its core for her clients

Interactive Interiors assisted DataStax with designing our Cork office furniture layout – incorporating corporate colors, preferred finishes and desired furniture functionality.  The office received rave reviews when it opened and was the envy of our other corporate offices.  Ger and Matt provided exceptional customer service – by first touring me through other corporate offices to see and “feel” various furniture lines and products, then designed the workstation layout according to my requested nuances for particular desks and offices, and lastly they spent hours working with me to find the exact fabrics and colors to pull all the furniture together to make a pleasing and functional office.  I was 110% satisfied with the design, pricing and delivery of the project.  When I had a project in London a year later, there was no question that I would use Interactive Interiors for my furniture needs.  With Brexit looming they helped me select UK vendors, which unexpectedly helped when the Covid-19 business closures occurred.  Once manufacturing was allowed to resume, my furniture was produced, the delivery coordinated, and now I have a beautiful office just waiting to be occupied. The commitment to complete customer satisfaction is evident in all phases of the design and installation process with Interactive Interiors.  What a refreshing change to have a vendor that truly appreciates their customers!
